About me

I'm Sonia, a 19 year-old queer girl living in Regina, Saskatchewan. I moved from Edmonton in the fall of 2011, and am happy to still be living in the Canadian Prairies.

I'm a visual arts student practicing in ceramics and intermedia art. I'm primarily interested in fat politics, femme identity, and queerness, including how these identities intersect. That being said, I love a pretty, functional mug with a few flowers thrown on.

After graduating with my BA, I plan to get a Masters of Library and Information Sciences. Eventually, I'd like to be a librarian in a public library while maintaining an accessible, community-based art practice. For now, though, I'm happy being an active member of my university's visual arts and queer communities.

KEEP ON BROWSING!
