Quick Hello
One of my sister's housemates: Nepal the guinea pig
After looking all over Edmonton, I found some unfinished wooden bangles (for my own decorating pleasure) on my first day here.
Hey all! Sorry for my absence. I'm currently in Vancouver visiting my older sister for spring break. It is so warm and humid, and spring is in full bloom. I'm having a really great time, and tomorrow we're going camping. Posting will continue to be light, but I hope to have a lot to share with you at the end of the week.
I'm also having a heck of a time figuring out my sisters Mac. My gosh.

Things That I Am Good At
Being my 100th post, I was hoping I'd have something fantastic to post. I don't, but I do have a list of things that I'm good at. It's important to recognize your talents, skills, and positive attributes. And so, Things That I Am Good At, a list:
- baking brownies
- pottery
- doodling leaves, vines, paisley, wheat...
- writing poems for my friends
- cooking a portobello mushroom and rice casserole
- English presentations, apparently
- making up silly songs on the spot
- sleeping
- having high self-esteem
Maybe I will wear some nice clothes this weekend, and post about it. Tomorrow I'm going to school to work on pottery for a couple of hours. How nerdy is it to be going to school on a Saturday?
Love y'all ♥

If not tea, how about some coffee?
Here's the first functional mug I've made. It has been a lot of fun to drink coffee out of it. Again, it's not perfect, but it's the best item I've made in the last few months.

Film Photographs
I got my first roll of film with my new camera developed. My camera is a Fujifilm DL-270 Zoom, and I used Fujifilm 200 speed 35mm film, which is to say, the most basic film. I'm really happy with the results. These are not all of the photos, I've omitted ones of my parents and school friends.
My camera apparently has a panoramic setting. I'm looking forward to using this setting with landscapes, but this was totally unintentional. This photo is twice as wide as the others.
My really wonderful girlfriend, Stephanie.
The view from my balcony.
Millcreek Ravine, from the bridge.
Dress shopping at Value Village.
Although my expression is odd, I really like this photo. The sunlight is beautiful. Stephanie said "try not to squint" and this was the result.
At Block 1912, a European cafe where we like to share sorbetto. Yum!

Grad Photos
I got my grad photos done today. The ones marked with a teal circle are the ones I plan on buying.
I know I'm fat, but I guess my face is fatter than I thought. It's weird to see yourself and think, "I look like that?" But I do owe my cute one-sided dimple to fat, and so all is well. The chair was too small for me. Neat idea, but too small of a chair! I also didn't realise that my hands would be in the photos or I would have done my nails. All in all, though, I'm happy with how the photos turned out.

May I offer you some tea?
This is the first and only teapot I've made. It's not perfect, and it only holds one cup of liquid, but I really like it.

"I'll be singing a song that is really sad and sweet."
This past weekend I bought Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Colour. I was originally drawn to this nail polish by its beautiful colour, but I absolutely love the polish itself. It dries quickly and doesn't get tacky, and the brush is flatter and wider than a lot of nail polish brushes. This makes for a nice and quick application. This nail polish is available in many other lovely colours, and for $7 a bottle I'll definitely turn to this brand the next time I'm looking for new polish.

Make up? Old make-up!
As I'm sure you've noticed, I'm frequently looking through and posting old photos. Well, I'm here to do that again. I used to belong to make-up forums, and wore more interesting make-up more often. Here ya' go:
I have that mouth-always-open syndrome, which is sometimes annoying and sometimes sexy. Right now I'm going to say it's sexy. ;)

Blue skies, purple legs
Mmm. It is so nice, warm, and sunny out.
I felt a teeny bit risque for wearing a mini skirt with tights instead of leggings.
Tights - Addition-Elle size 3X
Sweatshirt - Alloy size XXXL
Skirt - American Eagle size L
Clay-covered shoes - Payless size 11
Necklace - handmade and gifted by my sister
