Summer in September

Greetings from Regina! I apologize for being quiet on the internet this past week while I was moving and settling into my new home. To be honest, I'm not particularly settled - but I'm sure that will come with time.

It has been so hot in Saskatchewan (and, according to my parents and sister, the rest of western Canada). I'm used to the first week of September being hot, but that never stops me from dreaming of cool, autumn weather. The few minutes outside taking these photos was enough to leave me sweaty and dizzy - thankfully I've been able to spend most of my time in the air-conditioned indoors.

This outfit was inspired by this outfit at the other emily. I recently stumbled across Emily's blog and quickly fell head over heels. Her style is sweet, classic, and bordering on perfection!

Old Navy maxi skirt, Warehouse One tank, Walmart button-up shirt, Spring sandals, gifted bracelet & watch, thrifted gold chain necklace, & the rock necklace is from some touristy gift shop in Kananaskis

  3. Good luck getting settled! As someone who has moved a lot over the years I can tell you you are absolutely right, it will come with time.

  4. Love the bracelet and rock necklace!

It's been pretty warm here on the east coast, too. We're making up for a miserable July!

  5. Thank you all! :)

@Gazel, Regina's really nice. I'm not used to the city yet, but I like what I've seen of it and I really like the university. :)
