Autumn Equinox

autumn 019

Today was a perfect day for the first day of autumn, and I felt my outfit complimented the season quite well. Plaid, corduroy, loafers... and I love that it's cool enough to layer!

The golden leaves right as the sun was setting were absolutely gorgeous - it looked as though they were glowing!

What are your plans for the first weekend of fall? Whatever they are, I hope they're more fun than mine! I'm quite bad at managing my time, so this weekend I have a lot of schoolwork (and a few household chores) to catch up on. Hopefully I get the chance to do fun thing or two - I'd love to check out the city's thrift stores.

  1. Hope you got to do something fun! I have spent most of my weekend working, and have an hour or so of work this afternoon, but I get to meet a friend for coffee beforehand and I'm looking forward to a very fall-themed pumpkin spice latte.

  2. the trees are so so gorgeous. i can't even explain how much i love the second to last picture.

in florida our leaves don't change color. they go from green to dead and off the tree. so it's always a special treat to see trees with gorgeous leaves on them.

  3. @geetabix, thanks!

@Merry Alana, that sounds like a nice weekend! I haven't done much other than schoolwork but it hasn't been bad - productivity feels awesome. :)

@Judikins, that is so sad! we're really lucky here, most the leaves are still on the trees and are these brilliant shades of red and yellow.
