This is the shirt I wrote about yesterday. Thursday after school I popped into Winners and tried some things on, which was silly because I didn't have any cash with me. I tried this shirt on in a 2x, really liked it, and decided to go back and get it. Yesterday evening I went back and grabbed, but when I saw that they also had it in a 3x i decided to try on both. The sizes honestly didn't seem that different but the 3x was a bit longer and a bit looser around the hips, so I decided to go with that one.
This shirt it very different from what I'd normally buy. It's not only zebra print but sparkly. That being said I was certainly drawn to it and really like it. I love the sleeves, the way it fits, and the way it drapes, and as far as animal print goes zebra is my favourite (with the exception of leopard print flats). The neck is a bit high then what I'd normally go for - I'm the kind of person who feels like I'm choking in a crew neck t-shirt.
As for buying plus-sizes at Winners, I think it's most comparable to shopping at thrift stores. You have to dig through a lot of crap but if you can tolerate that, it's worth it. As usual, the plus size section is very small and hidden away at the back with clearance. I didn't see a section for plus size dresses or outerwear, they only really had tops and bottoms. Overall, it is worth it to check it out every once and a while, they do often have nice plus size blouses. This shirt was $20 and I'm very pleased with it.
