The circle of life

I wanted to wear something easy, cute and casual tonight but I have yet to find the perfect black jersey skirt or dress. Despite playing around with it at home, I've never worn my AA circle scarf as anything other than a scarf out of the house. Until tonight! I gathered it at the front, twisted and tucked it, and secured it with a safety pin. Hey, if Christina of Musings of a Fatshionista can do it, why not!


I've had this pin for years but have never worn it. I think it belonged to a former friend. Oops! It's very cute, though, and covers the much-less-cute safety pin. All night I was so excited about this pin because ducks don't need umbrellas! (Erm, I consume too much caffeine). Seriously though, I love umbrellas and love birds, making this pin perfect. Oh, and Keegan was happy that I was wearing a broach.

    I didn't realize it was big enough to wear as a dress. It's so cute though :)

    Thanks everyone! The scarf is quite big, both wide and long. I'm 5'10 and as you can see, it hits me at the knee worn as a dress.
