ConGRADulations!

As I've mentioned plenty of times before, I'm graduating high school this year and this past week were both of my graduation celebrations. Grads are quite expensive already, and though I was keen on looking good, I made a conscious decision to try and spend as little as possible on my clothes. Along with the pictures, I'll also be sharing how much I spent.

First up is my commencement. Although I did have to wear a grad gown for the actual ceremony, I wanted to look nice for dinner afterwards.

This is the beautiful bouquet my sister gave to me right after the commencement

Next up is what I wore the banquet, with dinner, dancing, and a few sub-par speeches. I had a lot of fun, especially dancing and spending time with my friends.

This vintage turquoise and amethyst pendant on a silver chain, given to me as a graduation gift by my father, was the most expensive part of my outfit. However, I'm a firm believer that price doesn't matter with regards to gifts, and therefore shouldn't even be mentioned.

And finally, a photo of some of my friends before the banquet. We went to the legislative ground to take photos because of the beautiful grounds and fountains, and it was fortunately a beautiful day.

My next post will feature some make-up, including the make-up I wore to grad, but I really don't want to overwhelm you with photos right now.
